A new version of Yahoo! Messenger was released.
As expected, It sucks. It’s not at all like the one they promised back in january. It lacks eye candy, and I think they didn’t “rewrite the whole application” like they said they’ll do.
It looks like Pidgin, but It’s far behind Pidgin’s functionalities (I personally like the Psychic mode plugin).

You can see the nice ads in Yahoo, and the resemblance with Pidgin. Instead of doing something like that, they…. Oh, It’s so late, I have to go to sleep.

This is not the version of yahoo messenger for vista that they announced in january. This is the next version for people without WPF. They’re still working on the version for vista.
