4 weird online services

I stumbled across these 4 weird (at least) services today after I listened to crankygeeks. Check them out, maybe you’ll need them..

  • Reputation Defender. ReputationDefender was created to defend you and your family’s good name on the Internet. Our goal is straightforward: To SEARCH out all information about you and/or your child on the Internet, wherever it may be, and present it to you in a clear report. To DESTROY, at your command, all inaccurate, inappropriate, hurtful, and slanderous information about you and/or your child using our proprietary in-house methodology (yes, that would be interesting to know more about). We will find the unwelcome online content about you or your loved ones, even if it is buried in websites that are not easily examined with standard online search engines. And if you tell us to do so, we will work around the clock to get that unwelcome content removed or corrected.
  • Alibi Network. We provide alibis and excuses for our clients (Cool). Whether it is spending a night out with a special friend, taking a day off from work, sending a discreet gift, avoiding your neighbor’s birthday party or planning a surprise for the loved ones. Now it is all possible… And it is all discreet. We put you in control and let you choose between local and out of town alibis with the option to have alibis validated by live operators.
  • You Departed. Things are much more serious here. Dead serious that is.. Would your family know the details of your life in case something happened to you? How would they access your email and online accounts? Who would know to take care of all the things you were responsible for? Taxes? Insurance? Where is the will or trust? Where is the key to the safe deposit box? What is the combination to your gym locker? This site isn’t about social networking for the dead or sending scary messages from the grave. It’s about organizing your life so if you die unexpectedly, the important details of your life can be made available to those who really need it.
  • And speaking about Social Networking for the dead, there’s MyDeathSpace.com.

There was a picture once about what happens when you let lose a crazy person on the internet. That picture was wrong. Other things happen…
