Welcome to my new blog. I call it Web Log The 4th.

First, a little bit of history.

The first blog I had was on Yahoo! 360 and was mainly focused on complaining about stuff that happened at school. After a while, I made my second blog, with the help of Sorin Damian, and after that I entered the Microsoft Academic Program. The blog still exists, at http://studentclub.ro/andrei_iacob/ , but I decided recently to move here, for various reasons. The blog was mostly technical, It was about WPF programming and Silverlight, so I decided to keep another blog, on wordpress.com for the non-technical stuff (I was one of the few to make such a decision).

The third blog, called “Little things, Iaci’s other other blog”, hosted on wordpress.com, was a place where I posted all the interesting (for me) things I thought were worth sharing. Along, of course with some rants and funny pictures from the city I live in. The problem was, that one day (a day in witch I passed 3 exams) I realized that I didn’t have the time to keep the blog. The other problem was that in another day I realized the huge amount of bull I wrote there, so I pressed the Delete blog button, despite the popularity it started to gain (you can see from his blogroll that Lucian Baciu was a great fan).

So here we are, the fourth blog, and the most important. I really loved my last blog, that’s why at first I wanted to port some of the most interesting posts from there to here, but I decided to start from scratch and blog about a wider range of subjects (mostly technical, of course). I really hope I’ll help some of the readers with my blogposts, at least as much as I did with my last blog.
